An all-class party will be held this Summer; planning is in progress. Photo shows last year's picnic before the arrival of the cheering crowd. See article and Gallery for more pix.

Mike Cook '70 writes: Well, it is that time of year again.
I need to hear from everyone who would like to continue the four year old tradition of holding a get together, party, picnic...what ever you want to call it... this year.
I will once again make our home available for this purpose if no one else comes up with a better location that all can agree on. As those that have attended any of the last three parties... you know we have plenty of room for MORE participants.
Last years party was really great, we had a (relatively) good turnout with people traveling from as far away as Massachusetts to attend... we even had people using the pool (quite a few actually)
I need to hear from all of you that want to do it again this year so I know if I should start putting this together. I appreciate all the help I got last year and would appreciate all the help I can get this year, so please let me know what you are willing to do to coordinate this years party.
We also need to figure out WHEN! So, when you do reply, please give some available dates (SATURDAY's seem best) or if it is easier... dates you are NOT available... and we will try to pick that ONE day when all who want to attend can.
(UPDATE: SEPT 2: Summer has almost passed, and we never heard anything more about this event. Was it held? Did everyone have a good time? We hope so. --Ed.)

I am looking for Ted. I don't remember his last name. He drove a Mustang, and graduated in 1969 or 1970. He worked at the Alpha Beta in Rosemead on Valley . I am hoping to get his last name. Thanks |

Hi Mike,
I am Mike Helmer's sister. FYI, Class of '68 is having their 35 Year Reunion on September 26th, 27th, and ending with a brunch on the 28th in Arcadia. You might want to advertise on our web site www.tchs68.com message board and plan your event for Sunday the 28th when many of our class will still be in town and in the party mode! Just a suggestion.
Cheryl, I hope you find your Teddy! |

Hi Mike! The Class of 1983 is having their 20th Reunion on Saturday, August 2nd. I can ask the people on the committee if they would be interested in assisting. I always thought that it would be fun if we held an Annual Alumni Celebration the Saturday following the Homecoming football game, either on the campus or at a large park, like Live Oak Park. Thanks! Has anyone heard if the Class of '69 is having a reunion? I heard that it might be in Las Vegas in 2004? If so, let me know at artist@springsips.com. I would love to hear more about the All Class Reunion. My sisters and brothers (Jeanne, Robert, & Don Taylor) along with Step brothers & sister (Rich, Jim & Harriet Harker) would like to know more too I'm sure.
It has been a long time since I visited Temple City and would love to return and visit with all that I grew up with in town.

Grew up across the street from Bruce Archer (on Olive Street, before he moved) and would like to get in touch with him. Can anyone provide mailing/email address?
Thanks. |
