Class of '68 Finalizes Reunion Plan

Sep 16, 2003 -- Here is the list of confirmed activities for TCHS68 reunion 35! All activities will take place at the Santa Anita Inn with the exception of the Racetrack tour and breakfast.

Theme: Come Back to the Future and Join the Fun
Time: September 26, 27, 28, 2003

Dress code for all activities is casual, with the exception of Saturday’s dinner/dance which is corporate casual.

Friday Night Activities:
• 6 p.m.: Registration
• 7 p.m. to midnight: Ice Breaker, includes snacks and no-host bar (please note, no dinner will be served, and there is no restaurant at the Santa Anita Inn). A great time to say hi to friends and classmates.

Saturday Activities, flexible schedule includes:
• 8 a.m.: Seabiscuit Tour and Breakfast at Santa Anita Race Track (please arrive by 7:45 a.m., as tour will start promptly at 8. Enter on Baldwin Avenue at gate 8 and follow the signs that say Owners/Trainers parking and walk to Clockers Corners (left end of grandstand as you face the track). After the tour we will eat breakfast and watch morning workouts (a real behind the scenes look).
• 1 – 5 p.m.: Poolside Chit Chat and Dip (bring your suits). Soft drinks, plastic cups, and ice will be provided (if you BYOB please no glass containers).
• 3 – 4 p.m.: Wine Tasting/Judging. If you wish to participate bring a bottle of your favorite wine. We will place the bottles in plain brown bags and number the bags. Then the fun begins. Participants will rate wines by number. We’ll see which wine(s) come out on top!
• 4 p.m.: Decorating Party
• 6:30 p.m.: Registration (for newcomers)
• 7:30 p.m.: Dinner
• 8:30 p.m.: Magic Show (after dinner is served)
• 9:00 p.m.: DJ/Dancing (after magic show)

Sunday Activities:
• 10 a.m.: Spiritual Get Together. Share what it means to see all your friends, classmates, “rivals” and reconnect after 35 years. (Location to be announced).
• 11 a.m.: Sunday Brunch
