Directory Revisions Begin
Oct 12, 2003 -- TCHS Alumni News has begun a project to update our directory system. The project will continue through Fall 2003.Major changes will affect both the appearance and maintenance of alumni information. We will be making it easier to create and edit listings, to help alumni maintain their own contact information.
Readers' suggestions may be placed in the comments below. Any ideas received by October 20 will be considered in the design process, after which the comments will be removed. Alternatively, you may send your comments privately to the editor using the Send News link in the Table of Contents.
The directory contains two levels of service. First, alumni can simply register; this provides a means of contact for official messages, and it lets friends write to registrants via an "blind" email form that does not reveal the registrant's contact data. There is no charge for basic registration. Second, alumni who subscribe annually as members of TCHS Alumni News Assn. can add a biography and photograph on a personal page. No technical skills are required to maintain either type of information.
We will include a progress report on the project in forthcoming issues, and we'll send an email message when you can use the new system.
