Scholarship Opportunity from Easy Spirit
Jan 24, 2004 -- Easy Spirit (shoes) is sponsoring the Easy Spirit Walk for Education again this year. They need your help in designing a hang tag for their new Freedom shoe.(The mighty TCHS Alumni News editorial board walked in this event in 2003. Results were not what we hoped. For 2004 we'll hunt you down and steal your wallet. Or at least talk you into a donation.)
Easy Spirit asks any interested student eligible for a Dollars for Scholars chapter scholarship to draw a poster on what freedom of education means to them. The deadline for entries is Wednesday, Feb. 11. Send a printed copy or a PDF file to Terri Kirby at 7703 Normandale Blvd., Suite 110, Minneapolis, MN 55435. Terri’s e-mail is tkirby @ scholarshipamerica.org.
The winner(s) will have the privilege of seeing their artwork on the Easy Spirit Freedom athletic shoe during 2004 and will win a $1,000 scholarship!
