System Modifications Effective April 2004

Mar 31, 2004 -- During March and April we and our hosts are making substantial improvements to the web and mail services. This includes a migration to a new mail sending technique and the updating of some features of our web server.

As we continue to make TCHS Alumni News better, we hope you'll inform us of issues that arise.

So far we've discovered that some people aren't receiving messages generated from the Directory and/or certain other online forms. We have tracked down and eliminated some of the sources of this problem but not all. The issues arise from the constant battle to reduce spam on the Internet. Many ISPs have installed locally developed "fixes" to their own problems, but those "solutions" just transfer the problem to others, including ourselves, as they must adapt to non-standard techniques.

If you fail to receive messages generated from our forms, or if you receive mail back that was send to/from tchsalumni.org, please use the To The Editor form to notify us, or forward the mail to theeditor-at-tchsalumni.org (substitute @ for -at- in the address).
