Scholarship Plan Suspended
Mar 23, 2005 -- The low rate of subscription we've experienced (well under five percent) has not produced the income we had expected, and your association has been forced to defer the development of its intended scholarship program. After three years, subscription revenue has failed to pay the cost of the web site and scholarship operations, let alone create a surplus.It is our intent to renew this effort when participation increases. We look forward to tying again in the future. A more complete overview of the plan is in the Association newsletter.
The math of a scholarship fund is simple. The benefits are obvious. The cost is negligible The lack of interest is at best disappointing. TC, I thought we knew ye.
