(l-r) Virginia Chenault, Norma Bridgeman and Florine Thompson kept the office and more running smoothly in 1958/9. In those days, school district folk were more permanent than our 'permanent records.'

Passages (4/6/02 from Annette Thompson '62 via Classmates.com, Ed.) Some of you may remember my mother, Florine Thompson, who was the records secretary at TCHS from 1957-the mid 1970s.My mom passed away on July 28, 2001, at the age of 90 years. She had remained active in the local Woman's Club and the TC Historical Society until about a year before her death.

A challenge from MIKE COGHLAN '57 (Rcvd 3/30/02, Ed.) ...Wanna talk fight songs? I was responsible for "Mighty Rams" becoming one of our fight songs. Which college was the tune stolen from? Who wrote the lyrics for us? It wasn't me - her initials were C.S. and she was in the class of '56.

BOB RAINS '60... (Rcvd 2/19/02, Ed.) ...I had an opportunity to pass through Temple City last November and I stopped to look at the house at ... Golden West. The same house is still there, and the owner seems to be taking very good care of the property. There's a gate out front that is new. The house still has lots of flowers and trees out front, still has a side yard on the left large enough for 10 year olds to play football, and still has a playroom on the right large enough to hold a ping pong table, or an extended family for Thanksgiving dinner. The 6400 block on Golden West seems to have pretty much the same houses that were there when I lived there, and it looks like a nice area, generally well maintained homes. Thanks for adding me to the directory.

JIM BREWER '60... I currently live in Newport Beach where I've lived for the past 21 years with my wife and three kids. Actually, only one of the kids is still at home. I have a son living in Maui, Hawaii along with his wife and my 18 month-old grandson. We try to get over there once a month, but it's not easy to fit into a schedule. We also have a second daughter who lives in Arcata, CA. She's off to Boston this summer for graduate work. That will spread our family from the extreme east to extreme west.I currently work with a group out of Seattle (actually Kirkland) WA so I get up there several times a year. It's really beautiful there, but the traffic is as bad as Los Angeles. I don't keep up with anyone from our class any more. I used to see Ken Conklin and Don Solsby occasionally, but haven't for the past 4 or 5 years.A reunion would be fun. I've only made it to one so far. My sister was in the class of '57. They still get together on occasion and really enjoy it.

Annette Thompson was my favorite teacher at TCHS from 1971-1972. Out of all the teachers, Ms Thompson was the best. Thanks alot. P.S. I still have the poster you gave me 30 years ago. Freddy Michael Middleton

Just went on a 4 day cruise with Carolyn Lloyd Horowitz, Linda Conklin Fowler, and Rosemary Ipsen Stewart. We are getting together once a month. How nice to have friends from kindergarten. Also had a visit with Bill Taylor, all class of 1958. Susie Shanks Barnes

I was saddened to read recently the obituary of Sue Spell (Harmon), class of 62, whao died April 11, 2004. Sue was the one who got me reconnected with my classmates. Though our paths hadn't crossed in a few years, it was nice to have another Ram nearby. There was no cause listed for her death, saying she died unexpectedly, and quietly, in her sleep. It also stated she was a cancer survivor, and, in lieu of flowers, her family asked for donations to the American Cancer Society. There will be a memorial for her June 18 at the San Bernardino Hilton Hotel on Hospitality Lane at 11:00 a.m.

I am Sue Harmon's neice and I attended her memorial service the other day. It is still a shock that she died so suddenly and at such a young age. We were just thinking she beat the breast cancer, when she died in her sleep on Easter Sunday, after dinner. My mom (Sue's sister-in-law) and I were very happy we flew in for the service. It was good to be there for her husband and grown kids as well as almost 100 other attendees.

Hello, You do not know me and I apologize for any inconvenience. My name is Les and I live in Washington state. I am a screen writer. I have been trying to locate my friends, people I spent time with in Bermuda during 1960. I am trying to find Linda Conklin. Linda would be in her mid sixties. I think that she was in the class of 58. Ms. Conklin was in Bermuda, in 1960. I believe that she was going to college in upstate NY, and at the time, lived on Loudon Road, Albany, NY. It is important that I locate Ms. Conklin. Is it possible that know this person. If so, can you help me find Ms. Conklin? If you know this person, or have a way of getting in touch with her, would you please send me Ms Conklin's e-mail, and, or forward this e-mail lorestad@cnw.com to her. I appreciate any help that you can give. Thank you very much, and again, I am sorry for any inconvenience. Sincerely yours, Les Orestad
