C/68 Mini-Reunion July 14

Jul 07, 2002 -- On Sunday, July 14th the TCHS Class of '68 will welcome one of its own "home" for a visit from the land of 'Oz' ..Australia, where she now lives. Margaret 'PEGGY' Presco, as we knew her, will be in the USA to visit friends (us!) and family, and speak out for all that is true and beautiful.

This "Mini-ReU", as we call them (the latest in an on-going series), is planned currently to start around 11:00AM at Live Oak Park ..(south end of the park off Daines, east of Baldwin) in (good old) Temple City. It will be a pot-luck picnic, bring your own drinks [uhh, booze is not allowed in the park so use yer discretion, judgement, or just don't!).

There are electrical outlets for keeping food warm in crockpots, and for music. [I gotta great collection of '60s oldies.., and some scary new stuff].

RSVP if you plan to attend and identify type of food you'll bring to JANICE HELMER at her 'HiNote' link here in the TCHS Cls of '68 list.
[THIS IS IMPORTANT so she will know how many tables to reserve!].

The T.C. Museum will be open for visiting. (This is a fascinating little trip down the pre-widened and sidewalked streets of olde TC..)

The picnic is at Temple City Park at Las Tunas and Kaufman.
