Save on Internet Access with TCHS Alumni Program

Aug 22, 2002 -- TCHS Alumni News will soon offer to alumni a discount program for Internet access. In summary,
-- subscribers get dial access to the Internet (and much more) for only $16.95 monthly
-- the association gets $5 per month from the provider
Interested alumni should click here for a pre-registration form. There is no obligation.
Members subscribing to the service would also receive their annual membership with expanded directory listing (includes personal page in directory, total $19 value) free. In addition, access subscribers may add an alumni web site for 15 percent off the regular price.

Subscribers can take full advantage of systems that are already on their computers. All one really needs is a web browser. Users of regular ISPs will hardly notice the difference. (A web browser and mail application published after 2001 are recommended.)

Service will be provided by ContribuNet, which bundles a variety of online services and makes them available through social and charitable organizations at substantial savings. Each subscriber gets
* dial access (with DSL to come where available)
* 3 Email Accounts
* 3 Megabyte Personal Home Page, (manage your account; publish photos)
* 24 x 7 FREE Technical Support
* Credit/Debit Cards and Checking payments accepted
* Filtered Access available

This is a great deal for all! Compared to $21.95 to 24.95 at Earthlink, AOL, and most other providers, alumni save save money while making make it possible for the association to publish the site, minimize alumni dues, and contribute to the TCHSANA Scholarship Fund. (If you miss the little voice telling you you have mail, you can call a classmate and take him or her out to coffee with your monthly savings -- or out to dinner with your annual savings!)

Dial service would be available in September, and DSL service will be available later this year. Dial service and DSL not available everywhere; more places have dial service than DSL.
