Classes/Reunions

Classes of '80, '85, '94, '96, '02 Remain Elusive

Oct 04, 2002 -- To date no one has registered in the directory from the classes of 1980, 1985, 1994, 1996 or 2002.

If you are from one of the surrounding years, please help to get the ball rolling for those years. Here are some ways you can help.

First -- and most effective -- write to your friends directly. A message from you is more meaningful than one from the editors.

Second -- and very efficient -- if you're a paid member of one of the commercial, generic alumni sites like classmates.com or reunion.com, you can become the "class coordinator" for any class (they have no way of checking your class year) and send messages to whole classes, including your own or a missing one.

The help of readers and members is the best way to ensure that future news and alumni events are successful and reach the largest possible number of our friends and classmates.

Thanks for your participation.

   >> just wondering if was any type of reunion being assembled for the class of 1999. reason i ask is because during my duration in high school, people have always looked at me as being "dumb" or "stupid" or "not smart".... in a nutshell i guess you could say i was one of those people that "were".."dumb" or "stupid" or "not smart" because the fact that i occasionally did my homework and for the most part, often failing a big majority of my tests(thank god i was at least smart enough to graduate). basically, most of my fellow students made fun of me because of my standings...ok ok..yes i was an outkast. to break it all down...i recently(4 months ago) graduated from i.t.t. tech and recieved a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Security(in english, a hackers worse nightmare)the program took me about 2.7 years to complete, and let me say, it wasn't easy. many people say that going to a vocational/tech school wont get you where you want to be because the fact that they are not accredited by the big boys blah blah blah yati yati Stanford, Rutgers, m.i.t, ivy league yati yati yati...., but all i have to say is that it sure landed me a great job. im currently 21 years old, and work for an information technology firm as the sys sec admin getting real good pay. i recently prevented an attack on our servers(how the hacker sliped through our quad x quad firewalls..beats the heck outa me) but i did it and i used the skills aquired from my training to help in that aspect. i am now very proud of my achievments as well as my accomplishments. i want to come back to my 1999 graduating class reunion and show everyone that the person they once called "dumb" or "stupid" probably has a monthly salary that is equal to or more then their yearly income(ok ok maybe im exaggerating just a little to much, but my income is pretty sweet). looking forward to the reunion. well im not going to write an essay here so..nuff said.. -thnx thanks thnx- //a.p.// *please disregard my punctuation, has no relevance to this post...is this an english class? J-kidding :)
